Safety incentives Safety within a workplace is matter that cannot be compromised, indeed has specific rules and regulations by the relevant agencies guiding the safeguarding of the employees safety within the work organization. There are various initiatives taken my organization to ensure that there is safety within the workplace. Regardless of the initiative taken employees should feel free to report any illnesses or injuries in the workplace if not then the entire workforce will be at risk. With a sound safety program in place there will be a reduction of accidents within the workplace. The paper will look at the pros and cons of using safety incentives and recognition programs as a means of enhancing safety in the workplace. Safety incentive/reward/recognition program These are programs in organizations whereby the employees are awarded or recognized for upholding safety within the workplace. Incentives are an essential tool in organizations when it comes to safety promotion.
